Fix some obvious bone weight crack issue, I'm too dumb to figure out how to fix the source engine bone weight, I apologize.

You need to move the shoulder if you are moving the hand in an obvious range, And here is one way to do that without manually animating the shoulder frame by frame.

  • after applying the rig, select the hand bone first then select the collar(shoulder) bone on the same side, Right-click then go to the DAG Utilities menu, and then select constrain_aim, Set the aim value to 0.5.

Now the shoulder should move with your hand

The following part is optional but I think it would be better to do it too.

  • Select the collar(shoulder) bone first then select the Help.LDM bone on the same side, Right-click then go to the DAG Utilities menu, and then select constrain_parent, Set the value to 0.35.

  • Select the collar(shoulder) bone first then select the Help.TZM bone on the same side, Right-click then go to the DAG Utilities menu, and then select constrain_parent, Set the value to 0.5.

  • Select the collar(shoulder) bone first then select the Help.PmM bone on the same side, Right-click then go to the DAG Utilities menu, and then select constrain_parent, Set the value to 0.5.

Activate the 'Show Hidden Controls' if you can't find those bones.
